Photofair 2009

Photofair 2009 would be held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi during 8-11 January 2009. Photofair is being organized by the All India Photographic Trade & Industry Association (AIPTIA).

AIPTIA has arranged to merge the 3 fairs intended to be held in Delhi from October 08 and January 09 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi into one MEGA FAIR under the banner of “PHOTOFAIR” and it would be held in partnership with Asian Photography, Better Photography and Smart Photography magazines.

Photo fair 2009 would be held in Hall no. 8,9,10,11,12 and 12a at Pragati Maidan and aims at bringing together the entire photographic and Digital Imaging community on one platform, in order to increase its awareness on the digital revolution in photographic products. The event will zoom in on the new digital world of possibilities. Most big players in the digital arena will be proudly highlighting their inventions here.

Harjeev, usually there is free registration in front of the hall where the photo fair is being held as there is no entrance fee for entering Pragati Maidan these days. In any case, as soon as online registration section is up, I'll post here.

Just wanted to know, if general public (us) can contribute in any way ..... to the event??

The only way we can contribute to this sort of event is by being there, cause manufacturers only come to events where they get good exposures and if the turn out is less, it might just go the way Book Fair is going.
