as far as i know..
Canon IXUS has this feature where you can select a colour which is captured others are black/white.. will post a few photographs in the evening..

we can import photoshop plug ins into GIMP, right? i too used GIMP for quite a while, but to me (pirated) photoshop CS4 is better. will try GIMP extensively hereafter.
