I was processing a photo shot in RAW format by Salil, while doing so I noticed I could barely notice any sharpening no matter how much I tried.
So here is my question to all those who shoot in RAW, do you guys sharpen the image which in RAW or once you have converted it jpeg? |

I do sharpen the images. Do you use the unsharp mask tool? I do see significant gain.
Unlike consumer cams the SLRs do not usually sharpen the image a lot. Most of it is done in post processing. Which software and option do you use? |

I was using Photoshop CS 2?s raw converter, there is no option for unsharpmask in raw mode. It is only available once I converted the image to jpeg. In the raw converter there was an option for sharpening the image, however it had little if any effect. However once I converted to jpeg, sharpening had quite an effect.
