Default Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathetral and Bath

This is one of the beautiful places I visited during my London visit. I got only one weekend so I planned to go out of London. Initial plans were to go to Scotland but then dropped the plan as most of my time will be in travellin. So thought of taking a day trip out of London and narrowed down to this one day trip.

Once you go out of London, you will see Green...Green...Green...nothing else...

Stonehenge is an heritage site and one of the greatest enigmas. It's archeological investigation dates back to the 1660's. You can see only a bunch of stones kept in a circle.

Bath

As the name suggests this is a spa town. Designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, Bath presents some of the finest architectural sights in Europe. Although the Roman Baths are perhaps the single main draw for visitors.

You will need atleast one full day to roam around this little town.

Lovely snaps Mohan.

BTW,is Stonehenge still under investigation?
I have been hearing quiet a lot of theories on television.....starting from Alien Launching pad to some kind of worship site.

I am not sure about any current investigations. What I heard is that there is a group of people worked on a project (in 2007/200 to find out the relationship between the stones and other few pieces available around the place. But still there are a lot of theories roaming around this mystery place...
