Default Bella Italia, Khajuraho

While at Khajuraho I decided to try out some Italian food and hence went to Bella Italia Restaurant, which had been recommended by Lonely Planet.

While there I ordered a lasagne, first it turned out to be an eggplant one (I don’t think that was mentioned in the menu) and on top of it, it had at least 3-4 layers of eggplant. Which is still eatable, after adding some salt. But the real bummer was the fact that almost all of the eggplant was thoroughly burnt!

Tried to eat as much as I could, but in the end, had to basically dissect the lasagne to find the parts which were alright and throw out the rest!

Not only was it one of the worst meals of my life and I had to shell out Rs. 150 for it, the whole rooftop restaurant is infested with ants, which not only cover your table, but also climb into the food!

Don’t know what the hell that lonely planet reviewer smoked, before reviewing this sad excuse of a restaurant or for that matter Bella Italia’s so called Italian Chef smoked before cooking that lasagne, but this is restaurant, I would only recommend to my enemies!

Bella Italia, Khajuraho; head there only if you are bulimic and want to barf soon after you have had your food!

They already have a feedback about Bella Italia on their site, to which they haven't even responded.
