On the last day of my stay in Khajuraho, I decided to have dinner at Madras Cafe. Since I was quite hungry, decided to order their veg thali.
![]() Although this looked quite delicious and fulfilling, but only aloo-matar were ok, rest of the subzis weren't that good and were mostly left untouched. For Rs. 100 a thali, the deal isn't worth it, since the ambiance and space isn't anything to talk about. Frankly other slightly large restaurants are much better options and somewhat similarly priced. Though, Dosa is priced at Rs. 40, which is a decent price.

Or maybe I ended up eating at all the wrong places, but what ever it was. Food wise Khajuraho was disappointing.

Just back from Khajuraho, here is the snapshot of menu (only 5% of total available items)of Madras Cafe,in case someone is interested for south indian food *VFM* (taste is OK-OK).
While coming back , we had a pack of 3 plates of idlis and it was indeed soulfull as there is no food available either in the train or on the stations enroute. |

hehehe..just Ok types, yaar i had an omlette @Rs 80 and veg sandwich @Rs 50 at Siddharth roof top restaurant bfore coming to Madras Cafe, probably that is why I have written the word 'VFM' for Madras Cafe, apart from the view everything @Sidharth Hotel was "dramebaji".
