Aggarwals Lassi Wala.

Located in Sadar Bazaar - Delhi Cantt.

Please Avoid: Lassi from a shop just opposite the Nescafe outlet in Karol Bagh.

Deeps, seems like there aren't too many lassi fans here!

....maybe you should ask about OMR laced lassi! I'm sure there would be more responses!

Well if you would like to have sweet lassi then shahdara is the place.

Shyam Lassi wala is the shop which is know for Lassi.

I bet, you can't have 2 glasses of lassi.

You need to reach that place before 11 AM after this time they are not left with any curd(They sell around 600 glasses from 7 to 11 AM).

In the Evening between 5 PM and 8 PM.

Address

Come to shahdara metro station and ask some about Shahdara Taxi stand near Hanuman Mandir. From Shahdara taxi stand go staright towards shivaji park on Hanuman road. After about 500 meters from taxi stand ask some 1 about Shyam Lassi wala. Its on the main hanuman road.

P.S. If you are coming by car. Its better to park your car at shahdara metro station and take a cycle rickshaw because it is very crowded area unless it is tuesday.

talking about lassi--.....well, this one is with a twist. Coming from Delhi, short of Ludhiana where you see LuDHIANA AIRPORT board pointing to the right, cross over to other side through the cut in the divider at that very point (general area sahnewal). As you cross over and turn U to face delhi/ambala, immediately to the left is a complex of a new age restaurant as well as an oldish dhaba, all bearing a common name,JAMINDARA. The oldish dhaba is the place where you can have good, heavy food but Lassi is absolutely free. Unlimited supply of Lassi is given on the table when you sit down, well before you place an order. It is natural in taste neither sweet not saltish but great when had with roti, dal and a small bowl of home made white butter and anything else that you may like to have

This is the only famous dhabha on NH1 till Jallandhar i never tried. Heard from relatives that the food is actually good. But now a days al the famous dhabha has gone down in terms of quality.

Start from Delhi.

Zhilmil - karnal : Quality has been reduced. Don't like to stop now.

Mayur Dhabha - Rajpura: Same like Zhilmil. Used to stop everytime especially for butter chicken and butter naan. Last time when we had food on Mayur Dhaba it was simply pathetic.

Lucky Dhabha - Jallandhar : Again very famous dhabha. Even localites and people from ludhiana and phagwara come especially to eat in Lucky dhabha. Even People of jallandhar say "lucky dhabha jallandhar di shaan". Sorry to say that again very sad food.

I believe all the restaurent and dhabha owners have changed their thought. They now want to earn the profit without investing a penny.

Other reason that i don't like the food of many restaurents and dhabha is most of my relatives are in this dhabha and restaurents business. Although they also have reduced the quality but the food they make at home is simply delicious.

No 1 can beat my mum's mutton biryani.
