Took my cousin out for lunch at Golden Dragon@Vasant Vihar over the weekend. Pretty okay place, with low music, no loud mutterings, and the kind where you can have a decent conversation without having to literally vomit into each other's ears. And best part, they have happy hours, 3:30 to 7:30pm. Yupppiee, so dropped the idea of eating, instantly.

2 non veg starters and 4 bottles of beer (2 got multiplied into 4 because of buy one, get one free offer) for Rs. 1000 (includes taxes and non-irritating waiters who wouldn't come to your table after every 10 min - not the typical restaurant scene here).

Golden Dragon at Panchsheel and Gurgaon are also good, might be at a slightly higher side, but food they serve is good.

Yes, Kay, they have maintained a good standard for many years.
Expensive, yes, but they always gave generous servings. How is it now?

Accha hai. Quality and Quantity both. Like the outdoor lounge at their Gurgaon chapter.

Their deep fried pork chilly and steamed chicken momos - highly recommended.

But speaking of momos in Delhi, I just love the Lajpat Nagar's (don't r'ber the name) and Dilli Haat is now Ok Ok type.

Can you recommend any other place for momos? Place should be hygienic, I'm little finicky about cleanliness when it comes to momos, don't know why. Just can't eat them, anywhere.

C block Vasant Vihar market.

By the way...there's some shop where they sell whole lot of exotic cakes, chocolates, cornflakes and stuff. Try their brownies...accha hai. This place is near the restaurant.

Nope. The Priya market is the Basant Lok market.

The C block market is much further down along Paschimi Marg.

Yes. It's in C block market. You go down from J and some left and right. I'm bad bad bad with direction, sorry yaar, though I've been to C block maket umpteen times. From J, it's just 5 minutes ride down to Golden Dragon.
