I know that few members might have objection with this thread but I am not posting it for sake of points for the DVD but because everytime I visit delhi this place is must....

Many people might rule out this place as Restaurant or Dhaba but I love the food they serve and the sweets they produce...

Yummy... Has anyone tried the faciniting Soan Halwa - It is my favourite sweet... Also the chinese samosa and kachori and the other chats are amazing...

Though many sweets like Rasgolla, Galub Jamun or Soan Papdi are now available all over the country... few items like Soan Halwa isn't available anywhere else...

Sorry no pics here but I think most of the delhi guys would agree with me about the taste of the food these guys offers...

Anything from Haldiram is always finger-licking good. Do try their Raj Kachoris also.

Yup, their Raj Kachoris are fantastic and also the biscuits that they have launched recently (I am guessing the shop is owned by the same people who sell packaged sweets).

You are right... I heard they have a factory in Noida or some place for distribution all over northern India and another one in Nagpur for distribution in ROI

Haldiram was basically nagpur based.

Do they have any branches in mumbai???

In mumbai apart from MM mithai at malad we dont have such stuff.

We had ghastiram karachiwalla chain offering yummy,ghee samosas in mumbai but sadly there are a very few shops left now.

There is a farshanwala at every railway station in mumbai but not so good as MM.Wat do u say Kotharibhai???
