Located right next to the Nizamuddin Dargah in the Hazrat Nizamuddin area, the Dastarkhwan-e-karim posseses Air conditioned interiors with Carpets and Table Linen (quite the opposite of the mother restaurant in Jama Masjid)

Agruably the best Mughlai food you could get in Delhi.

The restaurant has the elegant touch that a Mughlai food restaurant should have.

The food is less oily and less hot(red chilly) but a little expensive than the Karim's at Jama but you wouldn't mind that.

Some good vegetarian items are also available like biryani etc.

Love the food and the ambience there (didnt mention the pathway to the place). Somehow find it much better than the Karim's at Jama Masjid both in terms of food as well as approachability for family dining.

Wow resturant, the Great Karim, amazing food blah blah.
Sadly they have also deteriorated. This used to be one of our favorite haunts.
But I guess they got a new chef, who thinks that if you add oil to any dish, it becomes tasty. Flavor, spices, salt content and even state of cooking is secondry.
So you have another great name restaurant becoming totally useless.
Guess the only option for good Indian is Gulati now?
