Mainland China restaurant in Gurgaon
Visited Mainland China at Gurgaon last week for their much-talked about buffet lunch. At Rs. 500 (inclusive taxes), per person, I say it's worth a try, again and again (Starters, Main Course and Dessert, minus daaru, like most of the regular buffet packages). It sure is a delight for carnivorous, for their special crabs and shrimps and prawns, among other regular cuisine, but for grass-i-tarins, I'm not sure.
Venue - DLF Cyber city.

Kay, you seem to be pretty well heeled!
By and large, we consider that as a very expensive meal!!

Re: Hungry@Delhi
Sorry, Kay. That was not meant to 'bracket' you, but more as a matter-of-fact statement.
Being lovers of the mountains, I've stayed in more Tourism Dept. Hotels than I would care to recall.
The food they serve is invariably good, wholesome, freshly cooked food and seldom crosses Rs.150/- per head, non veg included.
Beyond that, a lot of us have really taken to 'tibetan' cuisine. A good thukpa, a plateful of mutton or pork momos and you're under a hundred rupees!

Re: Hungry@Delhi
Well. I also hog on momos and thukpas and dhaaba chai when in hills. But in metropolitan, well, maybe I am choosy. Also I like to experiement and try different cuisine.
