Nalini Restaurant, Shimla

While in Shimla, I had my late lunch at Nalini Restaurant, at mall road. Nalini restaurant is located on the left hand side, after a small walk from the public lift (towards scandal point).



Since we arrived there at around 5pm, they weren't yet serving dinner. So apart from snacks, we were given the choice of Chinese or South Indian food. We ordered Masala Dosas along with tea and lassi (lassi for me and tea for my sister).

While tea was good and lassi was kind of ok, dosa and sambar was bad! While the dosa was slightly sweet, sambar/rasam had a flavor similar to what one finds in MTR rajma and which I think comes from turmeric. Any ways, it was so bad that I actually had to leave almost half of the dosa. Service and ambiance on the other hand were decent, but couldn't make up for the bad food I had.
