Ashvin that looks good, is it available in India or you got it from somewhere else? What was the cost?

Was acquired from the 'junkyard' out of sheer luck.
The guy said it was an auxiliary light on a totalled Pajero.

Cost me a 1000 bucks.
On ebay, its more than a 100$ atleast !

I could never see better

I'm not interested .. thanks .. I've been through a lot of it already ..

I ran a 140/100W GE bulb + custom coil for around 8 months .. it was fantastic .. i tested it in and out on kanakapura road.. played in the fog at munnar, troubled the truckers on TN state highways etc .. had good fun.. but now .. I'm not too keen on having a crucked trial-n-error setup that decides to go poof whenever it wishes to .. i've had many forced moonlight rides including a failed night ride to bangalore and a long one from mahab to pune .. enough adventures .. i've spent more on bulbs than on the whole setup!

I'm happy with Avenger + Bluevision 60/55 .. they illuminate the road as good as the earlier 140/100 did .. and they are much faster with switch response and the spread of the original reflectors are damn neat .. and battery is completely out of the loop (which wasn't the case earlier)

Lighting is a subject where more is never enough .. .. but I'll think about it only when I feel my light isn't sufficient for any specific requirement :P or if some J plan strikes

I haven't been as lucky as the J man ... he'z been finding the biggest of headlamps for his bike !!!.. .. .. Lord save the MH truckers
