These prices put them in direct competition with Index and GPR helmets, as for whether or not they are justified, well this is some thing for the buyer to decide.

Hell they are even costlier than the AGV's and GP One's. Poor value for money for sure. Why would anybody would want to go for these if he can get an AGV or GPR for less?

P.S The visor locking mechanism is exactly the same as my new AGV.

Price is too much , AGV for 2k and GP one for 2k here in bangalore and if u know a delear like my freind does u can pick up the GP one for 1.3 k .
Even u can pick up a GP one from Big Bazzar for 1.8 k as hisunil did .I am sure now its not available at big bazzar any more, but they were available .
what about visors of those helmets , i am sure those will cost like 600 -800 a piece ?

Received this reply from Rohit, regarding the apprehension about the pricing of the Helmets:

I would like to clarify that the Helmets on offer are DOT and ECE Safety Standard Helmets which far exceed the ISI safety standard which the AGV and GP One range are manufactured under.

As for ppl who dont know, AGV and Bieffe are mere brand names that are used in our market for gaining sales figures and are locally manufactured by MPA and Steelbird respectively and are no where close to the safety and quality standards of the actual AGV and Bieffe helmets available in the International markets. Even I have been a AGV and GP One user myself and I would not take away any credit from both the Helmet range in terms of what they offer compared to the other Helmets in the market. The high price of the helmets is justified because of the better safety standards, quality of visors and stability at high speeds.
I guess it would be a good option if Pune guys can check these out and let us know their opinion regarding the same.

I totally agree with the response of Rohit from Angels Racing.

Every brand/product starts its journey as not being the first choice. Evrything starts from a scratch and its upto the user to determine the quality and value for money of any product. And when it gets a go from the users it doesn't take much time for it to become a brand and compared with upcoming products.

When AR introduced its riding jackets even I was sceptical with the quality but after using it for quite some time and having experienced a fall in it can vouch for its build quality.

The same case is with stuff from Cramster, which comes from a small shop/factory which is owned by Keerthi in Bangalore. But when I met him and vistited his factory and noticed the amount of effort he puts in manufacturing the bags and meeting international standards I decided to purchase them. And now after using the saddle bags and tank bag for almost a year will recommend it to anybody who intends to tour on a bike.

So Pune guys go check the stuff and enlighten us with your valuable inputs.
