Just came to know that one of my best friends in Bangalore now start dealing the automotive winches made by famous WARN.

Yes! it is little bit expensive accessory for a four wheeler, but anyone who might have seen the movie ‘Gods must be crazy’ never forget the winch mounted on the Land rover!!

The basic model can now be made available by Mr. Asok for an indicative price 30K plus.
Detailed models are listed at <www.warn.com>.

Contact Asok: Ozone (Bangalore ) Pvt. Ltd.

Anupji!

Recovery can only be possible by a winch! Earlier days, I am sure , you always seen it on all mil. trucks!

The bag can only lift the buddy! Please look at the website! It is interesting...

Point noted. Of course the bag is not a 'mil-spec' accessory! That is well understood.
And do you mean the bag can only lift 'the body'?
Is yes, then that is also well understood. ANY jack will only lift the body, if applied that way - to a body member.
For vehicles with high articulation suspension, that makes certain situations impossible to handle. The jack then needs to be applied to the unsprung parts.
Not being into serious off-roading, the bag offers an excellent way of retrieval if a soft-roader' or X-over type of vehicle finds itself bogged down.
And Peter, the advantage becomes truly significant at very high altitude places where the slighest bit of manual work results in severe panting/breathlessness!
The bag lifts the vehicle with the car exhaust and requires no preparation of a solid base to prevent it from 'sinking' into soft terrain!
