Balaclava & Bungee nets in Bangalore

Hello all,

Where can I find Bungee nets, chords and Balaclava in Bangalore. I tried the regular helmet shops for Balaclava, most people didnt know about it also. Did the last trip to Leh on a monkey cap inside the helmet, hope to get a proper Balaclava this time.
Also any alternatives to Cramster saddle bags, can I get the Luggage Panniers fitted in Bangalore?

a regular one will cost you 90 bucks and tell them you are looking for helmet cap..then pause and say monkey cap..at the same time you'll have to do a mime
most of them would not have it.try places where they sell a cross, AGV , index etc..i get mine from JC road.the folks who sell it know the name.forgot the place but let me know if you don't get it.
will get one next time and courier the same to you.

Got the Balaclavas today. The cost is in two range now, the local ones are 100/- and imported ones are 250/- [Made in Thailand]. Imported ones come with a thicker cloth and a small air filter near nostrils. I am not sure how useful or obtrusive they are.
I bought mine opposite to Urvashi theater[On the left side of the theater]; a new shop.
Bungee nets ['elastic nets' in JC Road] were of real poor quality, they could at best hold few books. Any idea where I can get good nets, anyways I have bought good set bungee chords for 50/- that would hold the tent on the bike. But ofcourse nothing to beat a good Bungee Net.

hey did you spot the imported ones in Megha enterprises? that's where i get my stuff from.need to buy one balaclava like those.also attached is the net i was talking about...are we talking of the same thing?

I guess it was Megha enterprises, but alas they earnt available now, had been there to pick up one more for my friend.
Yeah a net similar to that, I bought two nets in JC road for 110 each, they appear pretty strong.

@Dheeraj: Similar bunjee nets costs Rs.80/-a piece now. I enquired a guy in JC road area. Bought a Bunjee chord for Rs. 40/- Decent one.

@346tourer: If you need the bunjee net, let me know. I can give you the contact no and address of the guy. Visit him and pick it up.

I already bought two for three of us, the shop guy showed me two qualities, one was at 50/- and another at 110/- [after bargaining]. The difference I could find was the hooks looked stronger, the net was a bit wider, packaging was with some Chinese characters. All said and done I could have been cheated .

jokes apart i think 110 is an ok price to pay for something with better quality.
