Cramster Tank Bag
Another quality product from Cramster is their magnetic Tank Bag.

According to the information provided on their site:

Turtle is the latest creation of Cramster. Its universal design makes it mountable on almost on every motorcycle tank (made of steel). Flippers have six powerful magnets in all giving it tremendous power to remain stuck to the tank in spite of bad terrain, Climate and position of the bike. Construction is as solid as ever using best of raw materials and Imported Nickel Plated Magnets.

EZ Mounting: Keep the Turtle on the tank, pull the flippers and make them hug the tank as tightly as possible for the best grip and you are re ready to go. To remove pull the Flippers sideways and you got it in your arms. Since the design is common for all bikes, the magnets inside the flippers are movable by a couple of inches radius. Helping you find that sweet spot on your tank for optimum mounting.

Features:

* 16.5~ Litres (14"x9"x8" expanded)
* Plus additional pockets for quick access of Cameras,Lighters, gloves etc.
* Plus Map-Flap - Transparent sheet slide to keep Maps, stationary etc.
* Plus a Rain Cover to protect your fragile stuff during heavy rain

Fitting/Compatibility: Effectiveness of the Magnetic Tankbag is not the same on all the bikes, albeit it sticks to all Tanks. So before you order please confirm its fitting by asking us or by the simple DIY tests below to avoid any regrets later.

To Gauge the effectiveness of the Turtle on your bike:

Check the shape of your tank: Convex shape in the sides improves the grip of the Tankbag Along the running area (Tank height) should be at least 8 inches for the front Flippers and 6 inches in the rear to hug the Tank provide optimum grip.

Check for extra fittings on Tank sides: Some Motorcycles (esp Royal Enfield) have Thick Metal Embossed labels and Rubber Pads on the tanks which come in the way of the flippers and affect the sticking power of the magnets.

Best Fits so far

* Royal Enfield (Any Model w/o Rubber Pads)
* Bajaj Pulsar, Discover, Avenger.
* Honda Unicorn, Hero Honda CBZ
* Yamaha RX100/RD350 etc.

Amazing quality and space.

The bag has zippers to expand the chamber space.
Comes with a flip top with transparent waterproof poly sheet to place a map. So you just need to open the flap and u have the map in front of u.

Comes with a rain cover in case of heavy showers. Can handle light drizzle without the rain-cover easily.

Great grip with the magnets. But can sometimes cause scratches when dirt is caught between the bag and the tank.
You can use scotchtape to prevent that.

Long usage on dusty roads will lead to some fading on the color on the tank.

Use Scotch Tape to cover that contact patch to eliminate this and avoid salotape as its difficult to take it off after a 4 days trip.

Hitanshu and me have tried Scotch Tape and it works perfectly.

Also always mount the tank bag tightly by keeping the magnets on the last end of the strap and streching the strap to the max before letting it cling to the tank metal.

I would rather go for tape... as cloth will move and any moving thing over extended periods of time will do atleast some damage.

Will try that in some short trip and will let you know.

Scotch tape rules.

Only 'cloth' which you can use is soft terry towels but even they would rub. So scotch tape it is. and every office has oodles of it!
