Need help choosing a tubeless tyre!
i have decided to zero down on the following two rear tyres for my xtreme:
1) MRF Meteor(block thread) :110/90/18
Or
2)MRF Zapper Q: 100/90/18

Reviews requird on the above

Also,The tyres are not tubless but i askd the dealer nd he said they can work perfectly well by making them tubeless.. Should i opt for that, as i have no idea about the transformation ...

Kindly provide your inputs.. Thanks..

Unless the word 'tubeless' is embossed on the tyre sidewall, please do NOT use it as a tubeless!

Ditto, if you want a tubeless tyre then get a tubeless since they are specifically made to be used without tube.

Don't know how is the grip of MRF Meteor is, however if you are looking at a tyre like that then my recomendation would be to shell out a bit more and get the Michelin M45.

Re: help required urgently!
Thnx uncle..but the thing is up here in chd, finding a tubeless tyre of my choice is nxt to impossibl..and i cant go to delhi because of official commitments...i am currently using a zapper y, in a relatively good condition...but because of the handling and grip, i want to change it.. I want to use tubeless, for my trip as it would be more reliable..but if am not able to find them, should i in ahead with the above mentioned tyres, in a tubed condition? .. And if yes, will they pose any kind of problem in my trip? ... Though the types are awesome, nd i havnt found any tyre like the meteor, up here in chd..
I am confused, perhaps because i am goin there for the first time
Kindly help..
Thanx.!

Re: help required urgently!
Well people..i dont know if its too early to make a statement...I just had to change tyre today, so i went up to my trusted dqealer and told him that i wud not go for one that doesnt have tubeless on it,..he suggested importing one from delhi, one vee-rubber 110/90 tubeless ... Becoz of the import, itz going to cost me around 2000!! But then i was hell bent on tubeless + i hav trust on the dealer... Lets see how it works out!

Re: help required urgently!
Used Zapper Q before moving to M45.Both are too good and ideally suited for tarmac.M45 feels more sticker and grippy than the Q,dunno, whether it will last as much as a zapper does.
