Gum boots picked them for 360 rs pair ..they are soft inside when worn with socks and are waterproof.

I have these woodland shoes (in different colors)

Though they are not waterproof and drying them once they are wet is a pain, they are really comfortable and majority of the Delhi group has them.

Nfsnfs how comfortable are they for walking?

What happened to this thread? No one wants to share their little secrets?
Where were those thinggys bought? and are they comfortable for walking?
Does anyone carry a wee hairdryer to dry out their boots? Oh there's so much to life!
Hitanshu somewhere suggested stuffing newpaper into boots also....I think to help dry them out.

A good option for riding in rains is this:

Not very expensive (~500 rupees). It just needs to be put on your existing shoes (when you need it).

Only problem is, this is not readily available in India. Has anyone seen anything similar there?

Re: Show off your riding boots -all kind
Anup saar,
The hairdryer thing is a complete and utter failure. I tried it last year during my abortive Leh ride. In Manali, after a heavyyyy downpour (exactly one year back), the drier was a pain to use.

Contrarily, in Mumbai, I used to ride to office, get shoes sloshed daily, and stuff them every night with newsprint. No smell, nothing. They are still fine.

For Leh/similar altitudes, you need simple shoes - a real fall even God can't save you from. All you need is a windproof shoe that can dry out asap. Unfortunately, my Karrimor shoes fail that test!
