Tuff-up Tube,Need feed back.
Hey guys,I ws thinking of going for this tube which helps in avoiding punctures in middle of nowhere.Has anyone of you tried this tube?is it really good to some extent? or just waste of money?

Well you have two options; either go out and buy a Honda Unicorn tuff up tube if your motorcycle is using same size tires. Else you can invest in tire slime which does the same trick on any tube that you put it in. However do remember that they are only good for minor punctures and in the event of a large puncture they will not be able to stop air from escaping. Even in the case of minor puncture it is better to get it fixed in the conventional manner as soon as you find a puncture repair shop.

@YS,thanx for the info,did check about the unicorn tyre tube,costs arnd 250 bucks.Have you ever tried any of the two option so far?

Haven?t used either of them yet; however I have seen tuff up tube in action. When we were going to Leh last year, Shamik noticed in the morning that in his bikes rear tire a nail was stuck. He rode his bike for roughly 10kms to reach a puncture repair shop, all this while there was little or no loss of air. Similar thing happened with Crimson, he also rode his bike (Unicorn) after having a puncture, I think he had to fill up air once or twice before he reached the puncture repair shop.
