Default Delhi – Sarahan

Destination: Sarahan

Route: Delhi – (NH-1) – Ambala – Zirakpur Crossing – (NH-22) – Kalka – Shimla – Narkanda – Rampur – Jeori – Sarahan

Distance:
560kms

Type of destination: 3 days or more are needed to explore and enjoy a trip to Sarahan

Description:
Wonderful and quite place with spectacular views of Himalayan ranges.

Places to visit: Bhimakali Temple, Bird Park

Tips: Roads up to Rampur are in good condition and after that you might face some bad roads till Jeori. If you are interested in off road riding/driving then take the road to Rangkori Village, you will encounter fantastic view from there and there is little or no traffic on this route.

When you reach Sarahan, you will end up on a fork on the road (bus stand). The Bhimakali temple would be in front of you, taking a right would take you towards the main town and if you take the left you will ultimately reach Rangkori. It’s a simple route; you just have to go straight after that as per what I remember.
