Eagerly awaiting for the travelouge.
I went there myself last month and have uploaded the pics to picasa.
Here is the link Picasa Web Albums - Harjeev - Corbett Park ...

What all can one possibly hope to see in one day - overnight drive both ways?

Rather, suggest a sanctuary on a safer/NH route where one can go overnight (~250-300km - max 4 hours), see birds/animals morning/evening/chill and come back for office on monday morning

Nearest is Chilla Sanctuary, & so is Rajaji National Park... Rajaji is abundant with wild elephants & has tigers, panthers, bears, Cheetals, pythons, monitor lizards etc Whereas Chilla has mostly elephants, cheetals & Bears + some 250+ odd variety of birds.. Chilla is 222kms from Delhi & Rajaji is 229 kms.

As for Corbett, in a full day Safari in Corbett we saw Cheetals, Sambhars, Variety of birds, barking deer, wild elephants, tigers (twice, ignore my earlier post where i said tigers are afraid of humans & aren't coming out ) langoors...

When you take a full day safari, where do you eat and all?
