Drivorissa (Now I don't have to Drive so far from Kolkata to Western Ghats)

what do you do on a weekend when you have already used up the whole Saturday (15th August Holiday)
and Monday Morning blues are nearing on?
Well you leave for Orissa at 6 pm on that Saturday!!! ...
and yet reach timely to be able to sleep in a hotel (comfortably at your destination there) ...
do sight seeing whole nextday (Sunday) from the morning
and leave for Kolkata at 6 pm...
and be home home for dinner at 10:30pm (sunday) and yet be fresh at office on Monday to post all this..."

watchout for my backlogs in the coming months

* Kalyani Trip
* Madhya Pradesh Trip
* Orissa Trip (this post)

I am not getting time to post them, as I have been doing one trip after the other...during my weekends

Great photo essay. Opens up one's eyes to the beauty of Orissa. Pity the State's tourist facilities are so undeveloped.

Tirthankar, looks like the Orissa roads are much better now compared to what they were when I drove through in April.

Orissa, as HVK pointed, seems to be real good spot. Hope the govt does something to increase the tourisim there.
