Kudos for this innovative idea for the meet goes to Akshay, who not only initiated the call for Inter-North India meet, but also gave the idea of carpooling together to Karnal, which made the trip to Karnal, much more fun and quite different from the usual meets and rides we have.
A total of 29 BCMTians (including me) from Ambala, Chandigarh, National Capital Region and Hissar, attended this fabulous meet and majority (27 to be precise) carpooled to reach the venue. While I will certainly be posting majority of the photographs taken at the meet, in the meet thread itself, this thread would serve as a place to share photographs I clicked en route or while at the Lake and at Haveli restaurant. Since there isn’t much to write about, this is mainly going to be a photolog with the usual nonsense that I think and write on a regular basis i.e. you can skip reading that if you want, but I will write it, nonetheless .Dhairya arrived at my home and after a quick lunch of vada-sambar at a local eatery, we headed out for metal forging red light, where Narender and Srini sir were scheduled to meet us and soon enough, Narender picked us up in his red Swift. After Raja Garden flyover, we were joined by Draz and Nikhil (Lycen) in Draz’s Honda Accord and headed towards Delhi border. Traffic en route was atrocious; especially considering it was middle of the day. However we were making slow but steady progress. I decided to take my camera out and start shooting. One helmet and three riders, so why wear the helmet at all? ![]() Soon we were out on the highway and things were going pretty smooth (not talking about road, as it was bumpy at places). Draz’s Accord ![]() A Fiat that doesn’t makes sense! ![]() A Fiat that does make sense! ![]() An ity car! ![]() The livestock lane ![]() A truck gone bad ![]() A temple on the NH-1, in case you know its name, then please let me know. ![]() Part-2 -> Part-3 -> Part-4 -> Part-5 ->

Oh great, thanks Bhupinder.
Here is the next installment. As we started climbing Panipat flyover, a Safari rudely overtook us and got the result of attaining bad karma, immediately, when cops caught him for over speeding. ![]() Now let me introduce you to Seeloo Express, she is from J&K and quite funky, as you can see. ![]() She believes in “no drages no war only pyaar” ![]() She also has a colorful set of alloy wheels. ![]() Next -> Part-1 -> Part-2 -> Part-3 -> Part-4 -> Part-5 ->

Wonderful thread!
Seeloo Express!! I see a foreign hand here! Anyone seen trucks/lorries in Pakistan?! This one is the closest we've seen here, and, honestly, it still does not come close! |
