Good to see that the forest is still there. Did you visit Giri Ganga?
And again, thanks for the wonderful photos. Brings back memories of our visit about 3 years ago!

And what irony! when we went there, it was a log that helped us go further! Of course, this was one among a neatly piled block of logs that we stealed for the purpose!

Nope, there was no time to visit gir ganga, we just went to chansal. It got late coming back.
PAssed the gir ganga resort while going to Rohru
The road goes beyond chansal, but this time of the year its blocked. It was full of slush and ice this time too.
WE had to break the ICE with rocks and push the car across, but then we came across a log in the middle of the road. A huge one. So chansal remained a dream!
Maybe some other time.

In the month of may you can go to chansal pass, but beware of slipping

Thanks for your compliments! It was tough doing that in the indica. Once of the toughest terrains I have driven on.

Thumbs up Re: To Chansal.. Almost

Awesome set of pics yet again. Amazingly your images tell a story themselves, almost killing the need for a triplog. A *thumbs up* for that!

Especially good with runnig water, trees and black indicas !
