LOL, Ajay, most of the people here don't even know what Gucchi is! 1500 rupees a kilo. But a kilo will fill a very large bag, it's so light.
For a family of four about 150 gms would do the trick.

Has anyone seen gucchi on the menu of any restaurants here?

Hi
i am planning a trip to Chanshal/Dodra Kwar in 2nd week of October. Planning to take my Maruti Esteem. Is it possible to do on this road if weather holds good ? Also what is the distance of Chanshal and Dodra from Rohru in kms. Is the road good enough for entire stretch ? Is there lodging available apart from rest house at Dodra ?

In a Esteem could be really challenging because of relatively low ground clearance. There are places that have mud and slus even in dry season and roads have detoriated in past few days because of rains. However it can still do it if its not rained for past few days and you have protection plates below your car. I saw Mahindra pickups ful off people and luggage climbing up chansal pass. Also saw a fully loaded tractor and trolley at the pass itself. So anything is possible but wish for a clear weather.
