Bike Registration Xerox & ticket Copy. Some times they may ask you Licence for identity proof.

And one Important thing which I learnt from my trip. Owner of the Bike and person who traveling Name should be same.. I have taken my cousins bike, while going I didnt have any issues, but while coming I seen the hell. Waited for 4 hours and paid 600/- extra..

From Hyderabad to Delhi (1650Kms), they charged 1750/-
From Jammu to Warangal (2400Kms) they charged 2000/-

Yes its in same train. If you book the bike on ticket, it will be in same train. But they charge more.
Generally they load it in parcel coach. BUt to be safe side you need to pay 50/- to porter and make sure its loaded. If you go one hour early to departure you can check yourself.

You need to mention the value of the bike while booking.. in case of lost you can claim. TO avoid damages you need Pack it carefully.

You can book the bike as parcel on your ticket / reservation ticket. they charge seperately for bike as parcel services. No need to book extra ticket..

Day – 3 (1st June)

Woke up around 5.30AM, didn’t find any toilet nearby, so went out in open place for nature call.(new experience in chilled weather). Bharat started to LEH, went with him till river, if he needs any help. But he was able to cross the river without any issues. I came back and started my journey with Rajesh & Umair towards Sarchu. Soon we crossed Deepaktal.

After some time I see Rajesh & Umair Bikes slipped on road due to snow. Stopped and helped Umair as he had small injury on leg. Then continued the journey, I see 4guys on two bullets are also traveling same direction. Now its becoming more and more tough to ride on snow, bike is keep on skidding.

When I was alone I skidded on snow and fell down. I don’t want to others to see me in that position, so immediately got up and picked the bike. With 20+Kgs back and lifting 150Kgs bike is not easy in that cold weather. Still I did it . Had 4inches scratch on right leg and Left foot peg and connecting gear rod is broken. That was real bad of Pulsar 200, when I fell my speed was less than 5KMs. The Left side aluminum frame broken along with foot peg & gear connecting liver. Now I don’t have any option to change the gear and its in 2nd gear. I need to keep my left leg either on back side or front side safety guard. Had some tough time to ride on that bad roads with snow and water on road in 2nd gear. Still I was able to mange crossing Baralacha La without slipping again. Waited for others to join me for some time and then continued my journey towards Sarchu in 2nd gear.

I reached Sarchu and checked with mechanic, he said it cant be fixed in Sarchu. I removed the gear connecting lever from the gearrod and changed the position and tightened it. Initially it was in downwards, now it adjusted for side. Now I have half inch liver coming out, with little difficult I can change the gears. Started waiting for Rajesh & Umair. As I started waiting more and more, my frustration went more. Waited for more than 30minutes, finally they reached. Had big discussion with Rajesh, told him if it continues same way we cant reach Leh tonight. He is more concerned about the safety, so he is riding slow, he said I don’t want to take any risks and I will ride slow. I was complaining that in 2nd gear I came to Sarchu early and waited for you people more than half an hour. We both are right from our point of views. After having snacks & tea, we started from Sarchu.

Had challenging time in crossing Gata Loops with 2nd gear as I’m unable to change gears quickly and apart from that series of trucks are going on with low speed. After crossing Gata Loops started waiting for Rajesh & Umair for 15minutes, no sign of them. I couldn’t wait more I started my journey alone and crossed Nakeela & Lachlangla without any issues and reached Pang. Thought of waiting for Rajesh & Umair, but not sure when they going to reach. Then thought they can join me in on the way to LEH or at LEH. So started from Pang, Once I entered in Moray plains, I see big rain fall from other end. I don’t have any raincoat or sheet to cover my bag. And I was all alone on that road. Scared for while, then just went ahead and enjoyed the ride in Moray plains, luckly rain also stopped immediately.

I crossed Tangalang La and reached Rumptse, as usual no traffic on roads. Increased the speed to 70-80, as roads are in good shape, reached LEH by 7.45PM. Checked with Trafic police about the hotels and bargained and got Hotel room for 200/- with double bed. Called home and left messages to Rajesh & Umair to call back.

Distance Traveled : 340Kms
Weather : Cloudy
Roads : Good, Bad & Worst
