Hi,

I recently visited Nainital (9th Aug-11th Aug) and the route I took is Delhi – Hapur – Moradabad – Rampur – Bliaspur – Haldwani – Nainital. The road is pretty good except the Ramput-Bilaspur stretch where some 20 KM road is horrible with lot of pits.

Its interesting to drive as it will test our ability to find the best route possible among those pits (sharp cuts and turns in the straight road).

Other than that its pretty good. Initially we planned Nainital trip only but as we went on and on we went till Mukteshwar to have a view of himalaya but unfortunately its cloudy and couldn't see what would have been a great trip.

I don't know the reason which makes me to drive so much. The moment I bought my first bike (Splendor +) I started driving to and fro from Chennai to Vellore once in a week (135 km) and I crossed the 10K mark in 6 months time. After an year I bought Pulsar 150 for my brother but I couldn't resist seeing the bike staying calm. The first 100 km itself is a drive from Chennai to Vellore and I touched the magic 120 Km/hr mark. Then I keep on driving till I relocate from Chennai to Delhi.

Here I had a quite 6 months where I didn't have a bike to ride eventhough I bought a new Zen estillo car as early as a month after I relocated to Delhi. My wife used to drive the car as she learnt driving in Chennai itself and I am a silent watcher till January 2008. Then I started learning car driving and my first trip itself is Mussorie, Shimla, Agra (3 times). We put a small break during this summer and now started to explore other places.

Our trip started with Delhi-Nainital, Now Udaipur and planning to do most of the places during the winter that too during snow fall season as my better half is very much attracted to snow fall.

Now its raining in Delhi which made me to think of Udaipur trip but anyway we are planning to start as early as 3 AM.

P.S. I bought new Avenger bike (black) just a month ago as I couldn't resist my passion for driving and its done 1500 km.
