Am back from a super fantastic / awesome / stunning / spectacular solo trip to Ladakh.

Lovely photographs Gaurang, when were you there? Asking because it looks kind of dry and my friend's trip got literally washed out due to all the rain and snow.

Yogesh - I Started from Manali on August 17th and was back in Manali on the 29th.
But yeah you're right. I got the rains in Morey plains and on Tanglang la there was a small hail storm. On the way back on T'La I saw icicles by the road.
I came back to Mandi and then started off for Spiti (Chandartal). But had to spend a night in Manali and come back because it was constantly raining. By the time I reached Chandigarh I read in the papers that people were stuck on Rohtang because of 3 feet of snow! So I guess I made it back just in the nick of time.
Inder - Yeah I think I had one bag too many. Should've unloaded some stuff in Mandi (my hometown). But it wasn't really a problem, except for when loading and unloading.
