![]() Very nice and detailed log and wonderful photos! You managed to 'compress' it to near perfection! Anything less would have led to a lot of unanswered questions. Congrats to you guys for having done Marsimik La! ![]() Hope Satish has recovered fully and that nothing serious has been diagnosed. That was a litle worrisome. How come he was sooooo sleepy? Then, why did he not let anyone know? Very very lucky boy to have come through! |

Oh My God.... you had so much of unwanted/uncalled for adventure.... Driving in sleep was really unexpected from seasoned bikers...
Enjoyed the travelogue to its fullest...

@All.
Thank you so much for your precious time and encouraging comments... @Yogesh. All the bikes except Satish's bike have reached, but had some damages this time too.. I don't know how, but the transporter managed to bend the handle bar of my Thunderbird like anything...... Swapnil's and Avinash's bike had broken the fairings and the fuel pipes were cut..... Satish's bike is lying at Major Dhiraj's house in Udhampur, waiting for the transporter to pick it up from there..... One query: I had a bit of problem while uploading the log and pics.... the reason could be that I was doing it for the first time.... But, can we have a facility to keep the log saved on the site before publishing, with the attachments, so that we can edit it in more that one go?? @ Anup Sir. Thanx a lot for your compliments..... Satish has almost recovered now and thankfully nothing serious was diagnosed... We were riding since 5 O' clock in the morning and had not eaten anything after 8 O' Clock. Probably that caused him to feel sleepy..... He informed us about the sleepy feeling and we even asked him to have a cold drink or something, cause he normally doesn't drink tea, near Ramsoo. But when told that Ramban, where we were supposed to take snacks break is 22 km from Ramsoo, Satish thought that he could manage to ride upto Ramban....without sleeping @Amit. Satish is not used to ride as much as the rest are..... Though he has a good track record as far as the accidents are concerned.... ![]() Prpbably thats why he igonred his body's call for rest..... And slept on the bike itself.... Jokes apart, I must say he was too lucky......

Fantastic. Awesome.
It was my first trip to Ladakh and I know the feeling of just reaching Khardungla. So I can well imagine what M'La must have been like. Kudos to you guys! |
