Title should say it all.
5 of us, on 3 bikes, tried to cover Spiti valley, Ladakh and some more in under 9 days. Weather and bad roads (an understatement) on Leh - Manali highway didn't make things easier either.

The planned route was: Shimla - Kalpa - Kaza - Keylong - Leh - Pangong Tso - Keylong - Sach Pass - Mandi - Shimla.

The riders were:
Manoj Vaidya on ZMA.
Praveen Shirali on P180.
Me on Fiero.

I'm a bit slow to get the pictures up, so to begin with following are some pictures.

Pictures collection of Spiti and Ladakh will be empty without some Snowed Peaks. So a few of them from the collection.


13th Aug 2008: Rode through slush and snow to reach top of Tanglang La. View from there.


11th Aug 2008: Captured the sunset before Keylong.


11th Aug 2008: A view of snowed peaks, while climbing up Kunzum La from Kaza end.


13th Aug 2008: It was a season of snowed peaks. Yet another snowed peak between Tanglang La and Karu.
