.. yeah i can understand how frustrating off-roads can get without the foot-rest specially when ye need to stand on them at times..

I carried it back to Delhi, so it was in my pocket. Not so flexible to rest my foot like that

Some pictures from me: 1. DG at Chanshal, 2. The scenery and greenery around, 3. TM at Chanshal, 4 and 5: The slopes at the pass, perfect for snowboarding when it's painted in white!

Am I wrong or is my joy justified that this part of Himachal has escaped commercialisation to death??

Amazing location!

Ash: it has, but didn't you hear what Dhairya said in the narrative? A German group plans to have a ski slope there! So there you have it.

Funny incident: While we were cautious in our climb to Chanshal, measuring each move and watchful of the stones hitting the underbelly, slush, sand et al, we limped to the pass only to watch a CBZ with rider and pillion hurtling down like it was at ATV! The look on their faces said it all. Why are they dressed like that? And why so slow?
