hello friends here i am again bringing my trip log for u all . this trip i done in june 1st 2006 upto gaumukh glacierwith my dear wife.plz excuse me for bad quality pictures as these pictures i take from my sony handycam video and than transform into images with the help of media player classic.
ok so here i go we started from delhi ghaziabad meerut reached in evening at haridwar on my fav zen diesel. stayed at rishikesh .

2nd june
i wake up early sit in terrace of hotel reading newspaper and i knew today my target is to reach gangotri.its not my spritual tour but kind of adventurous one beacuse we have to trek also till the gaumukh glacior
but later on i feel the presence of that divine power which is around all of us .so we start at 8 am sharp havent take breakfast my wife is my navigator she has a map and handycam in her hand .night ride is banned in these hilly areas.so plz make ur plan for travelling in daytime only. we reached uttrakashi at 12 noon without any problem.

some way in middle i see this water tap god knows who opens this water tap to wash his clothes but i go there and washes my faces with it.feels very fresh.
reached gangnani famous for hot springs at 3 pm take bath there and feels totally fresh . gr8 water naa jyada thanda naa jyada garam like manali spring bath.
reached gangotri at 6 pm . the way from uttrakashi to gangotri is not good i will not advise for young drivers to try ur vehicle on this patch .and all others plz drive it safely .because its the road like one push u go . taa taa bye byee.take room no tv no cable wowwwwwwwwwww thats what i want no tv means no saas bahu no news channel complete peace only the sound of river ganga which is flowing near us .good night end of day 2rd june , arre ruko ek baat aur here u dont find pyaaz and lehsun so eat ur sabzi without pyaaz tadka .no non veg , no drink no pyaaz.

woke up early heavy rain is going on aagain i go and sleep now again wake up at 10 and find no one in room , went outside now what i see that the table is set on terrace 4 heavy pranthas are on the table 1 is of gobhi one is of paneer 2 is of aalo katori full of white butter nimbu ka aachaar and next to it sat my wife ready to eat all those with hot hot tea and i am seeing like he bhagwaan mera number kab aayega . i rushed inside for taking bath and get fresh but of no use untill i came out all 4 pranthas are in her stomach .and whan i ask her did u finish all 4 paranthas she says so sweetly yaar aur koi to kaam nahi tha tv aata nahi hai bor ho rahi thi isliye timepass karne ke liye maine sochaa paranthe kha loo so khaa liye whats the big deal.

2nd june rishikesh to gangotri.
now 3rd june in gangotri.
roam in and around gangotri .there is not too much to see in gangotri only there are ashrams and temples are there and a scenery which is made up by mother nature. u can see several peeks from here sit around ganga for hours and vehicles also not allowed after one point u have to carry ur luggage to go to ur hotel on barefoot.right bank is not that clear and the left bank of gangotri is very neat and clear . u have to cross bridge to go on left side there is one government hotel also .
