This one is not a travelogue of any trip to a hill station or a DESTINATION which I intended to cover. I went to my native village on Deepawali to see my parents & also visited few of my relatives in different villages of western UP.
My journey began on Saturday, 25th Oct morning @ 4:30 AM. This was the first time in my life that I was travelling to my village alone. I started so early with an intention to catch the sunrise along the banks of Upper ganga canal, which I usually prefer to travel on, instead of the NH58 to Haridwar. This road along the banks of Upper Ganga canal starts from Muradnagar & is upto Roorkee with very less of traffic as compared to NH58 & better road condition. As soon as I touched this road, I got disappointed as it was foggy & I was doubtful whether I would be able to get some good cliks of sunrise :
Slowly the fog got disppeared & the sunlight started spreading :
The road :
& then got the first look of sun which was red like a fire ball :
Stopped at multiple places to click the rising Sun :
The other side of the Sunrise :
& more clicks of sunrise :
The Two powerful powers :
In some time it was bright enough & I clicked more on the other side of the sun. The reflections in the canal:
The water in the canal was stopped for few days, thus making it a workplace for the sand diggers :
Stopped again when I noticed this :
By 8:30 AM I reached my village which is some 28 kms before Roorkee on the NH58. No more photos clicked on that day. By afternoon I left my village to Roorkee where my elder sister lives. The day was spent in gossiping & taking few pics of flowers in the garden. :
