Yeah, .. good ol' Caliber Croma
.. did a 750 km solo ride..Noting much to say .. visited Gopalswamy betta again (God .. I love that place) .. spent 3 hours there. Slowly climbed Ooty through the Masinagudi ghats. Was doing 20 kmph at places, .. felt like I was walking up rather than riding a bike, .. came back the same way as the Ooty - Gudalur route is just torn (worst roads i've seen .. himalayan roads are better) Things I realised: - The lower the cc, the more the agony, more adventure, more fun (except some times you might want to pull your hair) - More pleasurable once you've done it .. the sense of achievement will shine on for the next few hours as you look at a puny 100cc odd commuter which took you places. - You can cruise at reasonably good speeds (~90) on good roads, and cover distances quite well. Only drawback would be slower acceleration and poor braking at all areas where you need to slow down. - True economy class touring ! ... I filled fuel for 600 rs, roamed all around and got back home with fuel to spare. Heck, pulsar just gulps down fuel .. heheh The best incident - .. I met a set of guys riding pulsars and karizmas (looked more like xbhp guys, but weren't) and they were surprised to see a Caliber with cramsters.. we spoke for a while and it felt pretty good .. we were all smiles .. Photos here: http://photos.yahoo.com/justgetmethrough/ See the '750 kms on caliber' album I LOVE MY (dad's) CALIBER

Hydroxide lovely pics, especially this one
http://us.a2.yahoofs.com/users/44d19...wDG7EBSzVc7NNK Is it a public road or private? Btw you are right, it doesn?t matter which bike it is and how many cc it has or how old it is. It is the feeling of being there and doing some thing that few would do, that counts. |

Nice pix hydro but yahoo don do justice. Cos u upload wat ever size it rezises it to small ones. Use something like fotopic na, so that with the same effort we can see lil bigger images. U r one nature freak and bike does not matter for u as long as it got 2 wheels. i rmbr even during HX3 u were ready to ride ne bike that u get as long as u get to ride !!
