Few people wanted to leave early, but Pangong Tso was in no mood to let us go. So a flash flood at Pagal Nallah meant all but Dheeraj were trapped at Lukung. Though next day army cleared the carnage left by the flash floods, here is the BRO JCB at work…

All the wet looking patch you can see in the photo is the result of the flash flood, the JCB had to remove 4-5 feet deep mud to clear the way for our motorcycles.

Just came back from the Nubra Valley, had a fantastic ride there. While Manik, Eric, Shamik and Deepan decided to stay back in Leh and relax (they did accompany us till Khardung La), rest of the gang decided to explore Nubra Valley.
The ride to Khardung La itself was breathtaking with light showers and then snow to accompany us.

Reached leh last evening, got dealyed by a day due to mechanical problems with one of the bike. Tomorrow we will be heading out to Nubra Valley and Khardung La. Will be posting few photos of the ride so far in few hours, so keep watching this space.
