Wari La Pass (17,300ft) conqured on Motorcycles

17,300ft high Wari La pass in Ladakh is considered one of the most difficult pass to conquer on motorcycle, in fact only a handful have done it so far and that too with great difficulty during perfect weather!

So when three bikers set out to conquer it in the middle of October and that too when Ladakh and upper reaches of Himachal are receiving incessant snowfall, it can’t be termed anything else than a suicide attempt, right?

Well not for Avinash, Jaspreet and Surjeet, who set out to do just that on their Royal Enfield motorcycles. Avinash and Jaspreet are no stranger to conquering tough Himalayan Passes on motorcycles and had conquered Sach Pass last year in the middle of October!

So no wonder then, the trio managed to conquer the mighty Wari La on their motorcycles, even though it was covered under a thick blanket of snow! Now that they are back in civilization, they have posted the account of their adventurous ride on BCMTouring for you to savor.
