Roadhunk
MUSAFIR HU, PARYATAK NAHI
Hi, Guys last week i came to know that my bike HH Hunk rear tyre was puncture. I visited a local tyre shop and asked him to quickly look in to matter.
A little bit of background , in the month of Feb 2016 I have changed my Hunk with tube tyre with Tubeless one. For the rear, i choose the MRF Tubeless tyre with special block design to enhance the road grip, it cost me somewhere around 2600.
This is the pic of the tyre. Image credit to bhp forum.
Now the grip is fantastic. For the front i choose the Ceat tubeless tyre for which i paid 1800.
In the month of April, in the last week i transported my bike from Nagpur to Pune, with the help of Movers and packers. Thank god the bike was delivered safe.
The real problem started after 15 days or so, the rear tyre started to lose air rapidly, there was a time i have to fill and check air in every 7 days. I got the tyre check and found 1 puncture, it was a small nail like thing which was the culprit.
Then later last week same thin happened the tyre was losing air and now it was having far to less air in it. The air pressure was some where around 25 which should in the range of 35-40. So now the mechanic was checking the puncture and found that there are 10 puncture which have occurred due to glass. There were close to 10 glass particles. He removed them all and did dry puncture, inserted some sort of rubber at 10 places.
Now the air pressure is not dropping but still i am worried why did such thing happened. I have to pay 1000 rupees for 10 punctures. and I don't want such thing to happen again.
Moreover the tyre is pretty new is there a need to change the tyre again?
Have anyone gone through the same situation?
