Another friend suggested Dawki & Mawlynnong. Any idea about these places & 6 day itinerary around these?

I am leaning towards Bhutan.
Since druk air is costing 40k return, I am planning more treacherous train + road journey. Can anyone guide about this route and days it will take from Delhi to to reach paro?

A train can drop you till Hasimara, 18km short of Phuentsholing. You may take a shared taxi to reach the border and spend the night there before getting your permits the next day. But make sure you have a confirmed hotel booking for Paro, P'ling and Thimphu.

Else, with a hudget of 1lac, you may also choose to backpack around HK and visit Macau

Office has stiked back and I cannot go anywhere big. Except for 24-27 Dec. Where (from Delhi) can I go to during 4 days, Have to be back by 28Dec & can leave only on 24Dec.
Kasol? Kheerganga? Auli? Anything else? By bus is the plan & hotel to be booked on the spot.
