150cc bike (Vikrant) good for roadtrip ?

Hi All,

I am planning to go to Manali from New delhi in decemeber 1st week. :) Please suggest if roadtrip (Vikrant 150c new bike only 2 month old) with my WIFE is okay.

I have searched the whole google pages with every possible term, but couldn't find any bikes except bullet, which i dont have :-( But my vikrant is also powerful. Its BAJAJ Vikrant 150C.

I am concerned whether I can go with my wife on 150 CC bike.

There is no issue in riding your motorcycle to Manali with your wife. Just make sure you have enough warm clothes and gloves, and if possible, buy a saddle bag. That would help you carry luggage easily. Start in the wee hours of the morning, so that you can reach Manali by late in the evening and wouldn't have to ride in dark, in hills.

First of all... Welcome to BCMT family.

Secondly... as suggested by YS... a saddle bag will be very helpful for you to carry your luggage since you will be riding with your wife as pillion.

Go for a good quality saddle bag if you ride frequently or have plans to ride more often with your wife.

Cramster, ViaTerra, Dirtsack & Rynox are the brands which you can consider.

The price range starts from Rs.2600/- to Rs.6000/- approx.

You can buy these saddle bags "online" also.

Welcome here.
Generally 150 cc is good enough. I think it is a good bike too. Rest is upto how careful we are and not about how powerful the machine is.
