We wake up at 8 AM and after freshened up, had breakfast at our Hotel. It was good and filling. First job for the day was to hire a bike from the local market.
As far as I remember ILP was not required for visiting Pangong and Nubra valley during our travel time. It was required earlier and again it was required when we visited Ladakh 2nd time in 2018. So we directly went to the market for hiring a RE bike. After visiting 2-3 shops at the main market, we hired a 500 CC RE classic for 5 days at Rs 1000 rent per day. I forgot the name of the shop but bike condition was good and rent was reasonable. They also provided 2 good quality helmets. I have carried one set of bike riding gear with me in my luggage, it was quite useful. My cousin had borrowed a DSLR from his friend with kit lens. None of us had knowledge to take photos in manual mode so we used mostly auto mode during the tour.
We came back to hotel to take the camera, riding gear etc.. and by 11.30 hrs we were ready to start the journey for the day. First we full the tank at nearest petrol pump and started towards Gurudwara Pathar Sahib which is run by Indian Army. I cannot explain my excitement in words of riding a bike on the roads of ladakh. It is an amazing experience of a lifetime to have a bike ride on the roads of Ladakh, duration of the ride does not matter though.
From Gurudwara, we went to the magnetic hill. Since we were on the bike, we could not feel the effect of the place for which it is famous for. But we loved the place because many of the biker and four wheeler driver were enjoying off roading speed driving upto the hills which is nearby to board of Magentic hill. It was fun to drive on the hills and take few clicks while biking. We got a German friend there who was a solo traveler on his bike. On his request, we taken many pics of him while riding and he also helped in getting few pics of us. We travelled together till river confluence point. From there, he continued his journey to Lamayuru and we went to river confluence point cafetaria. We had some hot Maggi while sitting on the banks of river. It was one of the best experiences to eat maggi with cold drinks by watching 2 different colour of rivers. It was so calm and relaxing moment of the tour. We sat there for more than 1 hour and started back journey to Leh since we wanted cover Hall of fame and shanti stupa before sunset.

Reached Hall of fame to salute and pay homage to the Indian brave hearts who lost their lives to protect us during different wars with China and Pakistan. Proud to be an Indian moment when we visit such type places.
We headed to Shanti stupa from Hall of Fame. It is the best place to have an aerial view of Leh town. It was a full moon night and moon was stunning. It was looking a perfect time for photographer. I wished, any of us had some skill of photography. Then also clicked so many pics on mobile and DSLR as well. It was getting colder and windy by the time. I was again feeling little breathless when I was walking. So I avoided to climb the stupa and enjoyed the view while resting outside. It was really nice time at Shanti stupa.

From there we went to Leh market for dinner at Lamayuru restaurant. We had 2 type of Yak cheese pizza and apple juice. It was really very good. Returned to Hotel after dinner and slept for the night. Next day was to start our journey for Nubra valley.
