What is your mode of transport and when are you planning to do this trip?

This is a fairly fast paced trip for that early in the season.

Try and push till Kishtawar on day 1, as long as you don’t have to drive in dark.Otherwise, Patnitop to Killar is going to be fairly difficult.

Expect jam at Baralacha La and there is a chance, it might not be open for traffic. So make sure you keep an eye on the road status thread.

Tso Moriri to Keylong is going to be difficult, normally it is a 12-hour drive, rest depends on the condition of Baralacha La.

You will have to carry enough fuel for 700 km, after refueling at Diskit.

You will be on the road for 10-12 hours each day, at times more, so hope you’re ready for it.

With a couple of buffer days, multiple drivers and a hope of clear road?

    Yes.

I decided to stay at gulabgarh instead of killar.
How much distance can we cover next day from gulabgarh? Udaipur or keylong?

Depends on the road condition and your driving speed, both can vary widely up there, but Keylong is possible.
