Hi All
I am trying to understand the impact of early road opening for the planned trip in June. Experts are requested to offer your valuable comments.

1. As the roads are opening much earlier then will it be correct to assume that peak season will start from May itself.

2. Or as there is less snow/no snow, the season won't be as crowded as it should be.

3. What will be the likely scenario of on spot accommodation in June?Is it advisable to go for pre booking in Sonmarg,Kargil,Leh,Hunder,Manali.

Regards

1. As per my understanding, Peak Season is when summer vacations start in schools. So the early opening of road won't change the tourist inflow that much.
On the other hand, road condition would have improved quite a bit by June.

2. Snow/no-snow shouldn't affect the tourist inflow that much.

3. No idea.
