Yamaha Motor India has launched the updated version of their streetfighter, MT-09. Price of the motorcycle has been raised by Rs. 16,000 to Rs. 10.55 lakhs and it is now available for booking at Yamaha Motor India dealerships and deliveries will commence in the coming weeks.
The 2009 MT 09 features the same 847 cc in-line three engine, producing 113 bhp at 10,000 rpm and 87.5 Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm. However, it now gets Night Fluo paint option, which is now available with the Yamaha Blu and Tech Black colour options. The MT-09 logo now comes with a red finish on the fuel tank.
Apart from this, there are no mechanical or styling changes. However, Yamaha Motor India would be launching the MT-15 on March 15.
