Shimla – Kaza (Spiti Valley) Road Status: Open, with travel advisory due to Covid-19

Manali - Kaza Road Status ( via Rohtang and Kunzum): Closed

Manali - Lahaul Road Status: Closed

Chandertal Road Status: Closed

Rohtang Pass Road Status: Closed

Sach Pass Road Status (Pangi Valley):Closed

Hi, I am planning to visit Manali and Jispa between 20th August 2023 and 25th August 2023. Since that region has been tremendously hit by rains and landslides last month I wonder if it is possible to travel there. Does anybody have update on the existing conditions in Manali regarding road conditions, availability of hotels and supply of essential items there?

Yes !

You can move to Manali & ahead to Jispa.
Currently very less people are going but still Volvo buses are plying upto Raison from Delhi.
2 wheelers, Cars & small vehicles are allowed ahead of Raison.
Roads are bad from Kullu to Mannali at places but accessible.
Can't predict anything for 20-25 August.

Situation is very bad now on Punjab to till Manali on Highway.

No chance to open route for 10 days as road is damaged at many places near Mandi, Pandoh etc.
Alternate routes may be open but not recommended to use as rain is playing havoc in hills these days.
