2020 Srinagar–Leh Road Status

Police stopped a BCMTian on Punjab Highway, returning from Jammu.
A BCMTian on 8th April 2021 reported this and he spent night in Hotel at Jalandhar.
Don't Drive in Punjab at Night.

"Night curfew in Punjab. Police stopped on highway after Pathankot and asked us to take a hotel nearby. Staying at Jalandhar. Will continue in morning when night curfew is over."

Manali-Leh and Manali-Kaza Roads (NHs) are closed for traffic due to recent snowfall at Baralacha Pass and Kuzum Pass. No vehicles are allowed from Darcha towards Leh and Kaza. For emergencies & road conditions call District Diaster Control Room : 9459461355

Please provide update on Srinagar to Leh road status. Today 27/04/2023 the google map shows closed near Kullan - Rezan before Sonamarg .

Srinagar, April 28: Authorities have closed Srinagar-Kargil highway due to fresh snowfall while vehicular movement has been badly affected due to breakdown of a big trailer truck on Jammu-Srinagar national highway at Dalwas, officials said today.
