superb stuff man. All you guys missed out on having was a nice shave :p

Superb kickass riding. No-nonsense go getters - I like that. Unlike 99% guys on any forum!

Sach and Spiti are now due for Jun 09 :)

Vaibhav, this is one really CRAZY Himalayan drive. These are some of the toughest terrains that you have ridden & in no time... Very well described coupled with equally eyecatching photos.

Without using any adjectives for this (which I am being told on the forum that I am using too much these days;) ), I rate this as the best travelogue of this month. YS & mods what you say?

Is that a promise or a wish?!

BTW, wouldn't June be a bit too early for Sach? Maybe late-June. :)

Its a note to self - somewhere between wishful thinking and a decision.

The difference would be marginal - there's only so much difference between really horrible and really really horrible

best i would say when it opens - cause atleast then some work is done. from some of the pics, its clear no one's bothering about tarmac - just keep clearing any landslides as required - so timing is quite irrelevant.

That is probably a good enough choice.
There is a huge difference between 2 feet of snow and 4 inches of it!

Thank You All for your kind gesture ....

    I am honoured Amit!!

Actually there is a lot of mountain blasting going on after Bogrotu ... Widening roads so that buses may ferry till Killad frm Sach...Perhaps u mite find improvement of sorts in the tarmac next year.....
