7 sisters of the north east - help & travel partners

Hi Everyone,

So I am very fresh to this website, unfortunately never knew about this before. I have decided on travelling to the North east this Feb'17 - the whole month. from 4th feb till 10th feb I will be travelling along with a frnd of mine and after that will be going around alone. So i am here looking for all the guidance and advice possible on:

• which places to travel to in each state
• how to travel using local transport
• finding home stays in all of these locations, and
• travelling cheap

Also if anyone in here has planned a trip during the same time would love to meet up on the way. Below is my decided plan itinerary:

4th Feb - Shillong
5th Feb - Shillong
Shillong Places -

Elephant falls
Umiam lake
Shillong peak
Sweet falls
Diengiei Peak
Jaintia Hills *​

6th Feb - Cherrapunji

Nohsngithiang falls​

7th Feb - Mawlynnong
8th Feb - Kaziranga
9th Feb - Kaziranga
10th Feb - Majuli
​

I have no plan or idea of what and where to go next from here.

Bhai, as of today 11/2/17 I am in Aizawl. And kind of lost. No idea where to go next from here and unfortunately having a soar thoart which is not helping ne communicate with the locals. If you have any contacts please do let me would be very helpful. I am planning to stay here for one more day and then leave.

I am sure you are in Zawrkhawt... come down to the lower market.. just 50 steps down.. book a ticket for Lunglei or Champhai... Pm me your contact number i will call you asap... will help you out.... no worries in Aizawl...
