8-9 days Rajasthan trip in December

Hi,

We (I and my wife) are planning for 8-9 days Rajasthan trip in second half of December (mainly around Christmas time). We will be travelling by Honda City, starting from Noida.
Please suggest for itinerary.
Following is what I have in mind:
Noida -> Pushkar -> Jaisalmer -> Longewala,Tanot -> Jodhpur -> Ajmer -> Jaipur ->Noida
What would be our day wise itinerary? is it a tight plan?
Also, can we accommodate Udaipur?

You can easily do Noida – Chittorgarh – Udaipur – Jaisalmer – Jodhpur – Ajmer – Pushkar – Noida or you can do Noida – Bikaner – Pokhran – Jaisalmer – Jodhpur – Ajmer – Pushkar – Noida.

8-9 days will be sufficient for either of the above circuits. Rest depends on how much time you wish to spend at each destination and amount of hours you’re willing to be on the road.

I am more inclined towards first route.
Which place would be better to spend more no. of days from above route?
One more question, can I get the accommodation/hotel then and there only or do I need to book in advance. We are interested for budget accommodation.

You should be biased about spending more time in Jaisalmer, the fort there is beautiful and you can actually stay there, if you do not mind leaving your car behind in a parking lot. The food there is fantastic as well. Frankly speaking, Ajmer and Pushkar should be least of your priority and can be skipped as well, if it means spending more time at Udaipur, Jailsalmer and Jodhpur.

You will be traveling during the peak season, so if possible, book in advance. Also what is your accommodation budget?

My accommodation budget is ~1.5K per night

In that case, you can easily go ahead and book RTDC Hotels pretty much everywhere, unless you get a better deal. RTDC has small huts at Jaisalmer for around 1k a night and that includes breakfast as well!

Does following itinerary looks good? Any particular day which can be skipped? or broken into two days?
Day 1: Noida to Chittorgarh (long day?)
Day 2: Chittorgarh local sight seeing, Chittorgarh to Udaipur
Day 3: Udaipur local
Day 4: Udaipur local
Day 5: Udaipur to Jaiselmer (long day?)
Day 6: Jaislemer local (Tanot, Longewala)
Day 7: Jaiselmer local
Day 8: Jaiselmer to Jodhpur
Day 9: Jodhpur local
Day 10: Jodhpur to Noida (long day)

No plans to visit Sam or Khuri from Jaisalmer?

You can reduce a day in Udaipur and utilize it to visit Sam or Khuri.

Rest seems fine.
