No photography allowed at Thoise, just like in the case of all armed forces installations.

Spituk Monastery parking lot is your best bet for air craft landing and taking off at Leh. Make sure you do not photograph any army or air force asset.

Also, will my 70-200 do justice for clicking aircrafts or do I need a bigger lens ?
